Belemonti's proudly serves up authentic Chicago Thin Crust and Deep Dish style pizzas. Every pizza, sandwich, salad, and appetizer is made to order from the freshest ingredients possible. Our pizza dough, sauce, and meatballs are made daily. Even our slices are prepared fresh just for you!

To fully appreciate a Chicago pizza, it helps to know there are actually two distinct styles of Chicago pizza.

Chicago Thin Crust pizza is characterized by a thin, cracker-like crust and a tangy, herbal red sauce. Toppings are placed under a thick layer of freshly shredded mozzarella. The finished pizza is cut into squares, sometimes referred to as the Party Cut.

The more well-known style, Chicago Deep Dish, should not be confused with stuffed, stuffed crust, or a Sicilian style pizza. Chicago Deep Dish is cooked in a 3" deep pan and consequently is a very thick pizza. The order of ingredients from crust on up is: Lots of cheese, toppings, and lastly, the sauce. Deep Dish requires a 45 minute cook time and is cut into triangles.

My Grandma Belemonti moved to Chicago from Calabria, Italy. Grandma married a Lithuanian and gave birth to my dad Bill. While growing up in Chicago, my dad discovered his wonderful wife Judy.

They both had a love for pizza, so they started their own pizzeria in South Side. Now here I am, daughter of Bill and Judy, expanding the love of Chicago Thin Crust and Deep Dish Pizza for us Denverites.

It is a common misconception that Chicago style pizza is limited to deep dish and stuffed pies. There are even many residents of Chicago who don't realize that their city has it's own distinctive style of thin crust pies – a very thin pie with a crisp, almost cracker like crust that is cut into small squares. At the same time, there are plenty of Chicagoans who think thin crust is the true Chicago style pizza.
